Lyrics
JESUS TOUCHED ME
Talk about Jesus
Some people talk about living, talk about loving, talk about life
I talk about Jesus
He rose the third day and He’s coming back going to take us all away
People walk around with their heads down
carrying all the problems, dragging on the ground behind them
and they try to tell me about freedom
My freedom is Jesus
He rose the third day and He's coming back to take us all away
Hallelujah Glory,
Glory oh let us all sing and shout
lift your voices brothers and sisters
and let the name ring out sing it Jesus
He rose the third day
and He's coming back to take us all away
Well I was a sinner on the road
headed straight for hell
and if you knew me very long
it wasn't hard to tell
but then I saw the light of Jesus shining bright
and now I'm on the road I'm Heaven bound
Sing it Jesus
He rose the third day and He's coming back
to take us all away
Sing it Jesus
He rose the third day and He's coming back going to take us all away
One Step
One footstep after another
One purpose appointed to His life
One question He had to answer
And one answer worthy of the right

One moment out of each minute
A prayer He prayed and the answer received
And one reason for His living
And one time He's destined to die

With one hand He heals another
With one word He calmed the sea
One prayer He prayed in the garden
And He chose to die on Calvary

One journey was left for the taking
And He walked it alone up Calvary's hill
And one last moment He saved a sinner
And with the sword His journey fulfilled

With one hand He heals another
With one word He calmed the sea
One prayer He prayed in the garden
And He chose to die on Calvary, on Calvary
My House
My House is built
 On nothing less than Jesus
I wouldn't let it rest on shifting sand
And when the rains come down
And the wind blows against it
I know that in my house
 I'll safely stand
For I believe that He is able to keep everything I have committed
 Unto Him against that day
I didn't put my treasures on Earth they're in heaven
I put 'em there where no one can get 'em
And if you think I'm foolish
 Here's what I'll say
CHORUS
Jesus is the Son Of God, He is my Savior, He's Immanuel
The Way, the Truth, the Life
I will follow wherever He leads me
And I will go wherever He sends me
He's the only way, can't live without Him 'cause
CHORUS
Home to Glory
Woke up Sunday morning wiped the sleep out of my eyes
Mamma combed my hair and my Daddy tied my tie
Then they said come on boy we gotta get there don’t want to be late
We gotta get there ‘cause church starts at eight

‘Cause it’s a long road home to glory
Preacher said we’ll get there by and by
So my son you better get ready
Jesus just might come back again tonight

Well we walked into that little church and quietly sat down
The choir started singing and the people all around
Smiles as their voices seemed to fill the air
And I couldn’t help but thank God I was there

‘Cause it’s a long road home to glory
Preacher said we’ll get there by and by
So my son you better get ready
Jesus just might come back again tonight

Well I don’t remember everything the preacher said
And I didn’t really listen to the passage that he read
But I do remember clearly one thing I heard him say
Jesus Christ could come for me some day

Well many years have past since then
and many things have changed
And the words the preacher spoke that morning
now don’t seem so strange
I find myself looking in the clouds where He will be
When the trumpet sounds and He returns for me

‘Cause it’s a long road home to glory
Preacher said we’ll get there by and by
So my son you better get ready
Jesus just might come back again tonight
Jesus just might come back again tonight
Jesus just might come back again tonight
Lonely
Lonely, oh I can tell you about lonely
I lived it for 15 years and more
Searching in a million different places
But I didn’t know what I was searching for
Seeking, not knowing what I would find
Wanting, but I didn’t know where to go
Asking with no real questions in mind
Losing, but I didn’t know what I’d lost

Wandering, with no directions for my feet
Living had no purpose in life for me
Hoping, I could not believe that I would die
Just for the sake of not living anymore

Something told me my life was not by chance
Somewhere there was a reason to believe
Someone, there must be someone to tell me why
Could it be the man called Jesus Christ

 You talk about Jesus
 Well I’ve never seen Him
Did He really live and die for you and me
 And you talk about Jesus
So stand up and show Him
So that someone like me might believe

Lonely, oh I can tell you about lonely
I lived it for 15 years and more
Searching in a million different places
But now I’ve found what I was searching for

 And I’ll talk about Jesus
‘Cause now I have seen Him
And I know He lived and died for you and me
 And I’ll talk about Jesus
And I’ll stand up and show Him
So that someone like me might might believe
Of Sparrows and Lillies
Flowers growing on a hillside
Toil not and neither do they spin
But even Solomon in all of his glory
Was not arrayed as one of them
Consider the sparrows two for a farthing
A penny and a half a meager price
But even the sparrows when they fall to Earth again
Do not escape my Father's eyes
And aren't we more than sparrows and lilies
Who live today and tomorrow are dead
When he loves us more than sparrows and lilies
He's numbered every hair upon my head
And see the grass it grows high in the morning
And in the evening it swiftly fades away
But like the grass we need not worry for tomorrow
But rather live just for today
And learn the lesson of the sparrows and lilies
Who live today and tomorrow die
For He loves us more than sparrows and lilies
For you and me He sent His son to die
You’e Gonna Miss Him
Where will you be when tomorrow finds you?
Will you have some one to guide you?
Or are you simply gonna do it your own way
Satisfied with the life you’re leading
Or are you really deep inside pleading for help
Brother, give a listen to what I say

You’re gonna miss Him when He’s gone
Don’t mess around you don’t have long

You’re like the man with the sun behind him
Afraid to turn around afraid it’ll blind him
So you walk on, your shadow hides your own way
You walk on ‘till you trip and stumble
And fall on your knees where you cry and mumble
If you’d simply turn around you could see your way

You’re gonna miss Him when He’s gone
Don’t mess around you don’t have long

 Because, Jesus loves you
He’s got your best interests at heart
 Jesus loves you
He wants to give your life a new start
 Jesus loves you
And so the same question remains
 Jesus loves you
And what are you gonna do with Jesus today

You’re gonna miss Him when He’s gone
Don’t mess around you don’t have long

Heard it said there’ll be two men standing in a field
And one will disappear and the one that’s left
Will stand there wondering what happened to the other guy

And the world’s gonna be a sad place
 When everybody there finally realizes
Jesus has come and He’s gone
They’re gonna lay down and cry
 Oh, they’re gonna cry

‘Cause they’re gonna miss Him when He’s gone
Don’t mess around you don’t have long

You’re Gonna miss Him when He’s gone
Don’t mess around you don’t have long
Trust Me
And the stars shown bright
As I bowed my head that night
And I could feel His arms close tightly all around me
And His joy replaced the tears I’d shed so freely
But I didn’t say a word, and the only thing I heard
He just said Trust Me
Open up your heart and Trust Me
I’ll lift you up where no one has ever gone
I’ll give you peace like this world has never known
I’ll bring you joy when all your joy is gone
Open up you’ll see I can set your spirit free
If you’ll just Trust Me
Open up your heart and Trust Me
And I sat so still
The love I felt so very real
I’d never known a feeling like this before
I wanted just to stay there forevermore
And feel Him hold me tight
The way He did the night
I heard Him say Trust Me
Open up your heart and Trust Me
I’ll lift you up where no one has ever gone
I’ll give you peace like this world has never known
I’ll bring you joy when all your joy is gone
Open up you’ll see I can set your spirit free
If you’ll just Trust Me
Open up your heart and Trust Me
Trust Me
Jesus Touched me
And the blind they came
 When they heard His name
Those that couldn't walk came crawling
 And He touched their eyes
 And He told them rise
Take your cross and follow Me
 And Jesus cried
 When He was crucified
And He prayed a prayer for me
Chorus
Jesus here I am
 Hear me calling
 I reached out my hand
 And Jesus touched me
Well, we are blind
 Weak and sick inside
And the road we travel is sometimes weary
 And the road is long
 And we're not so strong
That we can make it on our own
Jesus here I am
 Hear me calling
 I reached out my hand
 And Jesus touched me
Come to Jesus
Are you lonely, are you crying
Do you need someone to talk to
Just call on Jesus, He wants to be your friend
Are you weary of searching
Do you need someone to guide you
 Just call on Jesus
He wants to bring you home
So why are you waiting to open up the door
Jesus is waiting to give you so much more
Turn to Him, let Him in, He wants to live His life inside of you
 Just call on Jesus
 Your Savior and your Lord
 Your Savior and your Lord
