Randy Thompson’s life
has been a musical
journey of faith
that has blessed
many thousands

We pray you’ll be blessed as well…

The truths of God as revealed in scripture are embodied in Jesus
- what He said, what He did and how He did it.

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

— Randy Thompson —

“I accepted the Lord after I heard your message. I will always be so grateful to you for sharing yourself
with us. You are a
Godsend."

Jesus Touched Me

Randy’s first recording attempt took two days to record and cost $400. The engineer sat Randy down in front of two mics and he performed the songs. It was very basic but people still remark on how it ministers to them.

It’s By Grace

This second album was the first to be released in “vinyl” format. The title is the message. Our salvation is Christ's doing from beginning to end. It’s by Grace. When grace has its perfect result, we are free to be all God intended us to be!

In Remembrance

These songs reflect some very hard personal experiences—some of the most significant times of growth in Randy’s walk with Christ. His hope was that the message of each song would leave its mark in the hearts of people who are going through their own valleys.

Once Upon a Cross

For many years, the songs on this album were some of the most requested at Randy’s concerts. Released just as Randy Thompson Ministries was beginning, it received a lot of airplay. The Angels Sing was chosen 'Best New Christmas Song' by the 'Phoenix Gazette' in 1994.

Pilgrimage

Of this album, Randy said, “I want to be all that Jesus intended me to be and I'm not there yet. But against all odds, I press on—searching out the riches I've inherited in Christ. I keep moving forward, because I know … the things Jesus' died to give me, are far greater than what I am willing to settle for. This is my pilgrimage.”

Covenant

The promises of God make up the thread that runs through this music. The songs reflect Randy’s personal walk with Jesus—attempts to capture moments in which God made Himself and his Truth more clear. As Randy said, “They are my altars, marking a place in time when I worshiped God.”

Thirsty

This album, recorded in Randy’s home studio—was an attempt to capture more of the intimacy of how Randy performed live. “Thanks to my family who stayed quiet while I recorded this. These songs are some I wrote for my church Open Door Fellowship.”

Through Different Eyes

For many years, Randy did an annual Christmas concert at his church—for which he wrote and recorded many original songs. This album is an attempt to help people see the familiar event of Christmas Through Different Eyes.

Find Randy’s Music

“Randy is … a man after God’s own heart, he is wise and intuitive.
He’s a man of few words; loving and accepting.
He is, truly, the most honest, humble man I know—and the best storyteller.
He’s compassionate and full of mercy.”

A Believer’s Journey

Randy’s Own Story – In His Own Words

Written in the years just prior to his diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia, Randy recounts the story of his years in full-time ministry and his heart for Jesus. It’s a fascinating look inside the world of a traveling Christian musician, as well as a testimony of faith and faithfulness. The book includes a listing of all Randy’s album releases as well as a selection of lyrics from some of his most beloved songs. Available through Amazon in both print and e-book formats.

I love telling stories, both past and present. So, in 2006, I created a blog I titled “Reminisce… and This & That.” This was long before Randy was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in 2014.

My blog is where I will provide updates on Randy’s dementia journey. You’ll also be able to read about how God faithfully walked me through the hardest years of my life after Randy was diagnosed.

Thank you so much for following along with me, and for praying for Randy & I. Forever grateful!

One day, Randy will
no longer be with us…

But thank God he leaves behind
the lyrics in his songs,
and the words in his book.
He always said he wanted his life to matter,
to be used of God until his final breath.

So it's only natural that Randy would close
A Believer's Journey
with these final words ~

"I will forever write songs and sing praises
to the One who is like no other.
I will tell of His great love and power
until my last breath, and then
I will see Him face to face,
and worship Him.
My Savior! My King! My God!”

Let The Music Last Forever

This video was created by Randy’s son,
Shawn Thompson.

"Let the music last forever.
Let the song go on all night.
Let Your spirit come wash me completely,
and I'll wait until heaven comes down.”
