Let The Music Last Forever
by Randy Thompson
Here I stand Lord I am waiting
I've come to seek Your precious face
And all that is within me
Asks Your presence in this place
I know You're here, I need You
You're my souls one desire
Come fill my heart
Fan this flame to a fire
The warmth of Your arms wrapped around me
My heart is an open door
As the song swells up within me
I've never known love like this before
I know You're here, I feel You
You're everything I want
So don't let it end
Let the music go on and on
CHORUS Let the music last forever
Let the song go on all night
Let Your spirit come wash us completely
And I'll wait until heaven comes down
The melody surrounds me
I hear the sweetest song
I lift my voice in praise to You
At this moment we are one
I know that You are here now
In everything I feel
It seems so right
It seems so real
CHORUS
O, Jesus stay here with us
We need Your precious touch
Fill my mouth with Your praise
Fill my heart with Your love
CHORUS

Lonely
Lonely, oh I can tell you about lonely
I lived it for 15 years and more
Searching in a million different places
But I didn’t know what I was searching for
Seeking, not knowing what I would find
Wanting, but I didn’t know where to go
Asking with no real questions in mind
Loosing, but I didn’t know what I’d lost
Wandering, with no directions for my feet
Living had no purpose in life for me
Hoping, I could not believe that I would die
Just for the sake of not living anymore
Something told me my life was not by chance
Somewhere there was a reason to believe
Someone, there must be someone to tell me why
Could it be the man called Jesus Christ
You talk about Jesus
Well I’ve never seen Him
Did He really live and die for you and me
And you talk about Jesus
So stand up and show Him
So that someone like me might believe
Lonely, oh I can tell you about lonely
I lived it for 15 years and more
Searching in a million different places
But now I’ve found what I was searching for
And I’ll talk about Jesus
‘Cause now I have seen Him
And I know He lived and died for you and me
And I’ll talk about Jesus
And I’ll stand up and show Him
So that someone like me might might believe
Lord Take Me
by Randy Thompson
I am a servant of a glorious king
My life was bought at a high price
I serve Him willingly bound by nothing but love
Knowing I owe Him my life
I once served a master who paid me with death
A slave though I thought I was free
Deceived I believed all his meaningless lies
Sin had blinded me
But Jesus found me broke the chains that bound me
Loosed my heart set me free
To know the matchless grace He offered
And the love that has captured me
Now every day is a new creation
Every moment another chance
To serve my redeemer with all of my heart
Place my life in His hands
Lord, take me Lord, break my heart
Leave me wanting only You
Lord, make me a man of Your will
Oh Lord, show me more of You
Then there's the moments of deafening silence
When God seems so far away
Prayers fall on the ground all around me
I wonder, can He hear what I say?
Is this because I have chosen to wander?
I'm only reaping the fruit of my choice
My heart's so empty and heavy and cold
My one desire is to hear Your voice
'Cause I know You love me I'll put You above me
Lord, please let me feel Your hand
Mold me and make me and bend me and break me
My life is Yours to command

LOST WORLD
by Randy Thompson
Is anybody out there listening,
Does anybody hear,
Our tiny voice in the dark?
Does anybody notice,
Does anybody care,
Or are we alone in the night?
Like little children we are crying in the darkness
Hoping that someone will finally answer
With fragile little fingers we are groping in the emptiness
Hoping that our pleas won't be denied
CHORUS
We are a lost world, going nowhere fast
We are a lost world, knowing it won't last
A world of dreamers, living in a nightmare that won't end
'Till the Savior comes again.
Spinning on this grain of dust
Through the emptiness of space,
On a journey that would seem to take us nowhere.
Trying to convince ourselves
There really is some purpose,
Though we haven't yet discovered if it's out there.
And with every answer comes a thousand other questions,
And we're never any closer than we've ever been.
With empty things we try so desperately to surround ourselves,
To hide the emptiness within.
CHORUS
BREAK
And we are prisoners on planet Earth
We started dying at the moment of our birth
And in between we scratch and claw
And try to make some sense of it all
Never wanting to admit
CHORUS
