JESUS COME

How many times I have known the longing
Wishing I could have been there
When the angels sang on that wondrous night
To the shepherds on the hill
And to follow as they made their way
In search of the tiny stable
And to be the first to see the face
Of the Savior of the world
To know the joy they must have felt
To be chosen for that moment
And to know they'd seen behind the vail
And witnessed a miracle
CHORUS
Jesus come and be the Savior we
Are desperately in need of
Let Your Holy light come pierce the night
And make a change in me
On the night when Earth was touched by heaven
And all the world lay sleeping
For a moment in a manger it all came clear
They glimpsed eternity
They could not know the love contained
Here within this tiny package
All they knew as they turned to walk away is
They would never be the same

How many times have the angels come
And we just could not hear them
For the noise and the rush that surround lives
We miss the miracle
Now as then I long with them
To witness His appearing
But until the day I see His face
This will be my prayer

JESUS IN ME

Here I am again, all of my hopes and dreams
So many questions, so many fears
So many times, Lord
I've come to You to wipe away the tears
I gave my life to serve You, Lord, each and every day
My one desire is to follow You
Open up my heart and let all of Your love shine through
But just when I think that I've finally got it
Lord, I stumble and fall
You're always there and You gently remind me
It's not me at all
It's Jesus and me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over in every way
I don't know how to explain it all
Oh, but I know that You love me
And I know that You came to stay
I want to believe all the promises You gave me
I really want to see them all come true
Let the world see less of me and more of You
But I look in the mirror and I'm so amazed
That there's still so much of me
I can't help but wonder if I'll ever know
What it is to be truly free
God I know You hear me
And all the things I say
Help me know the answers more each and every day
Heal my blindness and help me to see
More of the world through Your eyes
Take away all of the chains that still bind me
Let me see more of Your life
With Jesus and me and everyday I'm changing
Making me over in every way
I don't know how to explain it all
Oh, but I know that You love me
And I know that You came to stay
Holy Spirit come and fill me
Make me what I ought to be
Help me know Lord how to surrender
Help me know more of this life You've promised me

Jesus Touched Me

And the blind they came
When they heard His name
Those that couldn't walk
Came crawling
And He touched their eyes
And He told them rise
Take your cross
And follow Me
And Jesus cried
When He was crucified
And He prayed a prayer for me
Jesus here I am
Hear me calling
I reached out my hand
And Jesus touched me
Well, we are blind
Weak and sick inside
And the road we travel
Is sometimes weary
And the road is long
And we're not so strong
That we can make it on our own
